{"id":364814,"date":"2026-10-05T14:24:32","date_gmt":"2026-10-05T14:24:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/364814\/"},"modified":"2026-10-05T14:24:32","modified_gmt":"2026-10-05T14:24:32","slug":"motorcyclist-24-dies-after-he-crashes-into-guardrail-on-bronx-expressway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/364814\/","title":{"rendered":"Motorcyclist, 24, dies after he crashes into guardrail on\u00a0Bronx expressway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 24-year-old motorcyclist died after he crashed into a guardrail on a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycgovparks.org\/about\/history\/historical-signs\/listings?id=8762\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bronx expressway<\/a>, cops said Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Shah Ahsan Ardi was zipping north on the Major Deegan Expressway approaching the Macombs Dam Bridge on a 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 when he collided with the guardrail about 4:20 a.m. Saturday, cops said.<\/p>\n<p>He flew off the bike and died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Ahsan Ardi lived in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, according to cops. He was an IT engineer and was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/402366509819505\/permalink\/28720119497617494\/?rdid=0CwqjdwBZe9dpmeV\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">on his way home from work<\/a> when he was killed, according to a social media post from a Muslim American group.<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD\u2019s Highway Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the clash.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A 24-year-old motorcyclist died after he crashed into a guardrail on a\u00a0Bronx expressway, cops said Monday.
