(Valley News Live) &#8211; Fourteen-year-old Brooklyn Ostlund of Alexandria is celebrating the moment her blind audition on NBC\u2019s \u201cThe Voice\u201d aired as part of the show\u2019s three-night premiere.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Brooklyn Ostlund\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/OSG6CMCWRBA27NU3BZRNGU6O64.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"690\" \/>Brooklyn Ostlund(Brooklyn Ostlund)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/v\/19b9wZVcfS\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/v\/19b9wZVcfS\/\">Brooklyn performed<\/a> Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s \u201cTraitor\u201d which aired on Sept. 28 on NBC. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Both Queen Latifah and Kelly Clarkson turned their chairs for her performance, and Brooklyn decided to join Kelly Clarkson\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Alexandria teen says she relived the night her audition aired surrounded by the people back home who have supported her at every step \u2014 from early local performances to the national stage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 14-year-old singer is a familiar face around Alexandria, performing regularly at local venues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Brooklyn describes the experience as \u201csurreal\u201d and says she still can\u2019t believe it\u2019s real life, adding that the opportunity proves to her that dreams really do come true.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KVLY.
