It\u2019s a sketchy situation.<\/p>\n

A \u201cpetty\u201d turf war has stirred up a quiet Queens neighborhood where a comedy club owner has been on a crusade to out the creep who\u2019s allegedly been dousing her sidewalk chalk designs with bleach.<\/p>\n

Hannah Lieberman has been using the public sidewalk outside her QED Astoria spot since the beginning of the summer to draw colorful advertisements for the club\u2019s charity events, children\u2019s story times and comedy shows \u2014 and almost immediately, the \u201cking of Clorox\u201d showed up and dumped a bottle of bleach across the pavement until the intricate drawings dissolved.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought maybe it was a disgruntled teenager or something, but no. Turns out it\u2019s a fully grown man,\u201d Lieberman told The Post this week as she drew her latest artwork outside the venue.<\/p>\n

Since the cops said they can\u2019t do anything about the bizarre \u2014 but legal \u2014 behavior, Lieberman has taken matters into her own hands.<\/a><\/p>\n

The sneaky saboteur returned to drench Lieberman\u2019s art designs several more times, all of which were captured in a stunning montage of security footage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do this big chalkathon to raise money for immigrant families and also just fill up the whole sidewalk with chalk,\u201d Lieberman said. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was charming and heartwarming and awesome. He erases it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The comedy club CEO believes she knows who the culprit is \u2014 and has blasted him on social media while chronicling the spat.<\/p>\n

The man diligently swings by 23rd Avenue to wipe away her art shortly after she creates a new piece \u2014 and after gorging on a bagel from the nearby shop, she says in one video that was first reported by QNS.<\/a><\/p>\n

He also writes vile social media posts about neighbors, strangers and Lieberman, she explained \u2014 adding that at one point he dubbed her: \u201cHandjob Liebers\u2013tz.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy name is Hannah Lieberman. It\u2019s already very Jewish. I don\u2019t know why you needed to do that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The Post reached out to a number listed for the alleged perpetrator, who declined to be interview \u2014 but texted the reporter to ask if she was \u201csingle.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBleach? That\u2019s insane. Isn\u2019t it amazing people will make anything up?\u201d the man also wrote in the bewildering string of texts.<\/p>\n

The accused troll has a history with QED that dates back to its previous owner and founder Kambri Crews. In 2024, the pest was charged with graffiti, possession of a graffiti instrument and criminal mischief when he slapped Trump stickers on the club\u2019s facade, ruining the vinyl signage, the NYPD told The Post.<\/p>\n

Lieberman told police the madman was bothering the club yet again, but cops said he wasn\u2019t doing anything illegal since the sidewalk is public property \u2014 and suggested that his social media nicknames didn\u2019t qualify as harassment or antisemitism.<\/p>\n

Instead, a detective suggested she \u201cstop doing the chalk,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was shocked by that. I said, \u2018Isn\u2019t that just letting [him] win?’\u201d Lieberman recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd he said, \u2018The fact that you\u2019re thinking about winners and losers, you\u2019re both being petty and I don\u2019t want to get in the middle of it.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The NYPD has since apologized for the unidentified detective\u2019s comments, and noted that the department was monitoring the man\u2019s alleged actions.<\/p>\n

Lieberman has instead continued to chronicle the man\u2019s chalk erasures on social media \u2014 and has expanded her public shaming to include the NYPD\u2019s refusal to act.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m known for my pettiness. I\u2019m a pretty petty person,\u201d Lieberman joked. \u201cThis was such a crappy experience with the police.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe main takeaway is: I\u2019m going to keep doing the chalk.\u201d<\/p>\n
