Photo: Cunard<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cunard\u2019s Queen Anne will leave the fleet after completing its 2028\/29 World Voyage and will be transferred to P&amp;O Cruises. In a related move, P&amp;O\u2019s Arcadia will leave the P&amp;O fleet in August 2029 and transfer to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelmarketreport.com\/cruises\/articles\/holland-america-line-expands-to-12-ships-with-addition-of-po-ship\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Holland America Line<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Queen Anne will undergo an extensive \u201creimagining\u201d and will be renamed before entering the P&amp;O fleet in May 2029.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u201cThese decisions reflect a careful, long-term view of our portfolio and where the individual strengths of each ship can best support guest demand and the future direction of our two cruise lines,\u201d said Carnival UK, P&amp;O Cruises and Cunard president Paul Ludlow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cQueen Anne was created as a bold and contemporary expression of Cunard, combining the brand\u2019s hallmark service and sense of occasion with modern design, an extensive choice of dining and entertainment, and highly flexible public spaces. Those qualities give her a natural affinity with the modern P&amp;O Cruises holiday experience.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAt the same time, the change will give Cunard a more closely unified fleet centered on Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth,\u201d he added. \u201cEach has a deeply established identity and embodies the timeless style, heritage, and sense of occasion that guests around the world most closely associate with Cunard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ludlow emphasized that the decision to pull Queen Anne from the Cunard fleet \u201cdoes not change our commitment to Cunard or its future. We will continue to invest in the ships, service, itineraries, and guest experiences that make Cunard unique, while building on the strong following enjoyed by each of its three Queens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recently announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelmarketreport.com\/cruises\/articles\/cunards-queen-mary-2-refurbishment-will-introduce-new-grill-suites-elevated-wellness-offerings-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">upgrade to Queen Mary 2<\/a> is part of this commitment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs the world\u2019s only ocean liner providing regular transatlantic service, it\u2019s a one-of-a-kind asset, and our investment is designed to ensure it continues to delight guests for decades to come.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13; &#13; Queen Anne is Cunard\u2019s newest ship.
