{"id":366340,"date":"2026-10-06T23:20:41","date_gmt":"2026-10-06T23:20:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/366340\/"},"modified":"2026-10-06T23:20:41","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T23:20:41","slug":"angel-ramirez-18-murdered-the-bronx-daily","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/366340\/","title":{"rendered":"Angel Ramirez, 18, Murdered | The Bronx Daily"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was reported to the <a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.com\/guardians-of-the-city-a-comprehensive-look-at-the-nypd\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York City Police Department<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.com\/guardians-of-the-city-a-comprehensive-look-at-the-nypd\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NYPD<\/a>) that on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at approximately 1340 hours, inside of 2035 Newbold Avenue within the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx, an unidentified individual discharged a firearm multiple times.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, a 19-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, and a 31-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EMS responded and transported both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals \/ Jacobi, where the 19-year-old was listed in critical but stable condition, and the 31-year-old male was listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later, the 19-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the below described incident has been deemed a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Victim:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Angel Ramirez <br \/>address withheld<br \/>Bronx, NY 10455<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to visit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/crimestoppers.nypdonline.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NYPD Crime Stoppers<\/a> website, call their hotline at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.com\/angel-ramirez-18-murdered\/tel:+1-800-577-8477\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">1\u2013800\u2013577\u2013TIPS<\/a>\u00a0(8477) or for Spanish,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.com\/angel-ramirez-18-murdered\/tel:+1-888-577-4782\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">1\u2013888\u201357\u2013PISTA<\/a>\u00a0(74782).
