\u201cShe was combing my niece\u2019s hair when the bolt hit,\u201d her sister, Lana Let\u00edcia, said.<\/p>\n
The rodeo queen, who also goes by the nickname \u201cAninha,\u201d had just finished bathing her 5-year-old son and was brushing Augusto\u2019s daughter\u2019s hair when the bolt struck her.<\/p>\n
She was rushed to a nearby hospital in Almas, where she succumbed to her injuries.<\/p>\n
Augusto remembered his sister as someone who loved helping others in simple ways, saying she died \u201cdoing what she loved most, showing love through something simple.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAninha is and was one of the most beautiful people I\u2019ve ever known,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you for those 22 years of us,\u201d he said of Ferreira in an Instagram post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

ExpoAlmas mourned her alongside family members.<\/p>\n
