The New York City Police Department (NYPD<\/a>) is asking for the public\u2019s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograps, who wanted in connection with an assault and murder<\/a>, that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

Details are as follows.<\/p>\n

It was reported to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) that on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at approximately 1340 hours, inside of 2035 Newbold Avenue, an unidentified individual discharged a firearm multiple times.<\/p>\n

As a result, a 19-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, and a 31-year-old male victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm.<\/p>\n

EMS responded and transported both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals \/ Jacobi, where the 19-year-old was listed in critical but stable condition, and the 31-year-old male was listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Later, the 19-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries.<\/p>\n

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the below described incident has been deemed a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner.<\/p>\n

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.<\/p>\n

The individual is described as an adult male, Hispanic, with a medium-dark skin complexion, approximately 20 years of age, with a medium build, approximately 5\u20194\u2033 tall, with brown eyes.<\/p>\n

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.<\/p>\n

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.<\/p>\n
