Cunard\u2019s Queen Anne will join the P&O Cruises fleet in 2029, with the ship set to undergo an extensive reimagining and be renamed before entering service with P&O Cruises in May 2029.<\/p>\n

Queen Anne will continue sailing for Cunard until the completion of its 2028\/29 World Voyage, including a central role in the Four Queens celebration in Liverpool in May 2028. The ship will then undergo an extensive reimagining before entering service with P&O Cruises.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

\u201cQueen Anne was created as a bold and contemporary expression of Cunard, combining the brand\u2019s hallmark service and sense of occasion with modern design, an extensive choice of dining and entertainment, and highly flexible public spaces,\u201d said Paul Ludlow, president of Carnival UK, P&O Cruises and Cunard. \u201cThose qualities give her a natural affinity with the modern P&O Cruises holiday experience.<\/p>\n

Ludlow said Queen Anne had established \u201ca special place within the Cunard fleet\u201d and would have an \u201cexciting programme ahead\u201d, including the Four Queens celebration and her final World Voyage as a Cunard ship.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

He added that the transfer would give Cunard a more closely unified fleet centred on Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. Queen Mary 2 is set to complete an extensive refurbishment in 2027.<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

\u201cThis decision does not change our commitment to Cunard or its future,\u201d said Ludlow. \u201cWe will continue to invest in the ships, service, itineraries and guest experiences that make Cunard unique, while building on the strong following enjoyed by each of its three Queens.\u201d<\/p>\n


\n <\/p>\n

The move is part of wider fleet changes within Carnival Corporation, which will also see P&O Cruises\u2019 Arcadia transfer to Holland America Line.<\/p>\n
