\u201cNext Gen: NYC\u201d stars Ariana Biermann and Liam Obergfoll are keeping things platonic.<\/p>\n
The duo confirmed their relationship status at Page Six\u2019s second-annual \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea\u201d Awards<\/a>, sponsored by Tri-State Cadillac<\/a>, CoverGirl<\/a>, Philo<\/a> and Kahl\u00faa<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cWe are not dating,\u201d Biermann told us on the carpet Tuesday night alongside Obergfoll and their other castmate Shai Fruchter. <\/p>\n \u201cNext Gen: NYC\u201d stars Ariana Biermann and Liam Obergfoll (both pictured left) confirmed they are just friends. Page Six<\/p>\n \u201cWe are not dating,\u201d Biermann said at Page Six\u2019s \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea\u201d Awards, alongside Obergfoll and their other castmate Shai Fruchter (pictured second from the right). Page Six<\/p>\n Despite just being friends, Biermann, 24, admitted she loves that Bravo fans ship them together.<\/p>\n \u201cI love that, I think it\u2019s very sweet. Liam\u2019s an incredible guy and I\u2019ve always said that. It\u2019s been awesome.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI love the support,\u201d Obergfoll added as he playfully leaned closer Biermann. \u201cI\u2019m a fan of her.\u201d <\/p>\n The pair were by each other\u2019s side for the whole night at the Edison Ballroom and Obergfoll was Biermann\u2019s biggest supporter as she won the \u201cBreakout Star\u201d award<\/a> during the show. <\/p>\n Although they are keeping things platonic, the two (pictured at the afterparty) admitted they love that Bravo fans ship them. Weston Kloefkorn for Page Six<\/p>\n Biermann immediately hit it off with the \u201cNext Gen: NYC\u201d newbie after meeting him at co-star Emira D\u2019Spain\u2019s birthday party in the beginning of Season 2.<\/p>\n At the time, the influencer was newly single, coming off of her nearly nine year relationship with Hudson McLeroy.<\/p>\n She and Obergfoll, 29, soon began going on dates and the actor even helped the longtime Bravo star move into her new apartment.<\/p>\n Want to watch from home? BFA.com \/ BACKGRID<\/p>\n Even though they never became official, Obergfoll confessed his love for Biermann during a cast ski trip and introduced her to his family. <\/p>\n However, just as they began to get close, their other castmate Zakkour \u2014 who had feelings for Biermann since Season 1 \u2014 started making moves.<\/p>\n Biermann quickly got tied into a love triangle between the two men, and ultimately decided to take a step back from Obergfoll to see things through with Zakkour, who she hooked up with<\/a> in the Season 2 finale.<\/p>\n However, their castmate Charlie Zakkour (seen above) started flirting with Biermann and she got stuck in a love triangle. God bless him,\u201d she concluded. <\/p>\n Obergfoll added, \u201cThe problem with him is that he apologizes after everything and he keeps doing it over and over again.
