<\/p>\n The men’s soccer team suffered a tough 1-0 setback to the Brooklyn College Bulldogs in a CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) match on Wednesday afternoon at Brooklyn College Field.<\/p>\n In a contest that was tightly contested from start to finish, the lone goal came at the 69:36 mark of the second half when Brooklyn benefited from an own goal, which ultimately proved to be the difference.<\/p>\n The two teams were nearly even across the board statistically. Brooklyn held a slim 8-7 advantage in shots, while both teams recorded five shots in the second half. The Bulldogs also finished with a narrow 5-4 edge in corner kicks. Andreas Kotronis<\/a> led the Bearcats with two shots, including one on target.
