New York Or Nowhere (NYON) meets Sesame Street, two of the biggest names in New York, launched a new limited-edition collection on Oct. 5.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
NYON x Sesame Street\u2019s debut collection is a 57-piece selection inspired by iconic Sesame Street characters, including Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar, Big Bird, and The Count. It is designed for anyone and everyone, ranging from kids to adults.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The collection celebrates humor, nostalgia, and the energy of the city. Standout pieces include character-specific knitted sweaters, T-shirts, and hoodies, with Sesame Street playing on NYON\u2019s motif by using \u201cSesame Street or Nowhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
One of the collection highlights is a black varsity jacket embroidered with Sesame Street surrounding the iconic motif\u00a0 \u201cIt will always be New York or Nowhere.\u201d The collection also has caps, socks, tote bags, plushies and keychains.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Jake Shane, social media personality, comedian and actor, starred in the campaign, which shows Shane through New York, but things begin to look unusual. As he moves throughout the city, we see Sesame Street\u2019s familiar friends appear in different places. A kid walks past as he waves hi to Big Bird. In the intro, it is presented as \u201cinner child.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cSesame Street is such an iconic part of the city, so getting to be part of this campaign with New York or Nowhere was a no-brainer,\u201d said Shane. \u201cIt\u2019s nostalgic, the clothes are so good and it just feels really special. I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n Exclusive New York or Nowhere X Sesame Street apparel featuring Cookie Monster made their debut at EEEEEASTCON on Oct. 3 and 4.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Sesame Street has been around for almost 60 years and made its debut on Nov. 10, 1969. It had iconic moments and taught kids valuable lessons, such as teaching kids the alphabet, letters, math, emotions, life skills, and much more.\u00a0<\/p>\n On Nov. 23, Sesame Street will make its Season 57 debut on Netflix and PBS Kids.\u00a0<\/p>\n NYON was founded in 2020 by Quincy Moore, grounding itself in New York and being built for everybody.
