{"id":367937,"date":"2026-10-08T15:48:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T15:48:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/367937\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T15:48:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T15:48:09","slug":"suspect-arrested-for-stabbing-homeless-man-to-death-in-queens-park-during-fight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/367937\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspect arrested for stabbing homeless man to death in Queens park during fight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A suspect has been arrested for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/10\/07\/homeless-man-stabbed-to-death-during-fight-in-queens-park\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">stabbing death<\/a> of a homeless man during a fight in a Queens park, police said Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Abdullah Spencerel, 53, was arrested hours after the victim was knifed twice in the chest during a clash inside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycgovparks.org\/parks\/major-mark-park\/?webview=trb-wv-ios-v10.0.63&amp;mvtoken=68819243220000\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Major Mark Park<\/a> in Jamaica about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, cops said.<\/p>\n<p>The victim, who is believed to have been homeless, died at the scene near 87th Ave. and 173rd St. Cops are still trying to determine his identity.<\/p>\n<p>Spencerel was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
