A new revival of Aaron Sorkin<\/a>‘s\u00a0A Few Good Men<\/a> begins at Lincoln\u00a0Center Theater’s Vivian Beaumont Theater October 8 ahead of an official opening night October 29. The cast features\u00a0The Hunger Games’ Tom Blyth<\/a> as Lt. Daniel Kaffee,\u00a0Bradley Whitford<\/a> (The West Wing)\u00a0as Nathan R. Jessep,\u00a0Krysta Rodriguez<\/a> (Chicago<\/a>, Smash<\/a>) as Lt. Commander JoAnne Galloway, Stephanie Berry<\/a> as Judge Randolph, Nick Blaemire<\/a> as Lt. Sam Weinberg, Michael Braugher<\/a> as Cpl. Jeffrey Howard, Christopher Gurr<\/a> as Dr. Stone, Billy Eugene Jones<\/a> as Capt. Isaac Whitaker, Collin Kelly-Sordelet<\/a> as Pfc. Louden Downey, Shunt\u00e9 Lofton<\/a> as Sentry\/Orderly, Michael Oberholtzer<\/a> as Capt. Jack Ross<\/a>, Lavel Schley<\/a> as Lance Cpl. Harold W. Dawson, Thom Sesma<\/a> as Capt. Matthew Markinson, Daniel Velez<\/a> as Pfc William Santiago, and John Zdrojeski<\/a> as Lt. Jonathan Kendrick, along with Brendan Evan Behm, Alex Ekker<\/a>, Drew Elhamalawy<\/a>, Miles Fowler<\/a>, Quentin Nguyen-duy<\/a>, and Stephen Michael Spencer<\/a>. Understudies Peter Bradbury, Tim Creavin<\/a>, Mahira Kakkar<\/a>, and Austin Phillips<\/a> round out the company. Casting is by The Telsey Company’s Bernard Telsey and Karyn Casl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sorkin’s courtroom drama premiered on Broadway in 1989, centering on a pair of U.S. Marines being tried for the murder of a fellow soldier at Guantanamo Bay, and an attempted high-level cover-up. The work made the jump to the big screen in 1992 with an all-star cast including Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, Demi Moore<\/a>, Kevin Bacon<\/a>, Kevin Pollak, J.T. Walsh, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Kiefer Sutherland<\/a>. Nicholson’s delivery of the climactic line “You can’t handle the truth” has become one of the most well-known and quoted movie lines in theatre and cinema\u00a0history.<\/p>\n

The production features scenic design by Dane Laffrey<\/a>, costume design by Alejo Vietti<\/a>, sound design by Joshua D. Reid, lighting design by Japhy Weideman<\/a>, hair and wig design by Cookie Jordan<\/a>, movement direction by Ricky Ubeda<\/a>, fight direction by Rick Sordelet<\/a> and Christian Kelly-Sordelet,\u00a0vocal coaching by Kate Wilson<\/a>, and original music by Gabriel Mann<\/a>. Charles Means<\/a> serves as production stage manager, with production management by Paul Smithyman and Kevin Orzechowski, general management by Showtown Theatricals and James R. Geoghegan<\/a>, and company management by Matthew Markoff<\/a>.<\/p>\n
