Traitorz, an unauthorized musical parody of reality TV hit\u00a0The Traitors, has set an Off-Broadway premiere at St. Luke’s Theatre, with a run to begin November 4 ahead of a November 13 opening night.<\/p>\n
The new work comes from book writer and lyricist Tim Murray (Tim Murray is WITCHES!) and composer Ben Fankhauser<\/a> (Newsies<\/a>), and will feature comedian Dylan Adler as show host Alan Cumming<\/a>, with audience members invited to join onstage to play the game. A cast of impersonators (to be announced)\u00a0will also be on hand to play such celebrity contestants as\u00a0Jennifer Coolidge<\/a>, Britney Spears, Ozzy Osbourne, Liza Minnelli<\/a>, Morgan Freeman<\/a>, Patti LuPone<\/a>, and Jesus of Nazareth.<\/p>\n The production will feature music directions, arrangements, and orchestrations by Kyle Branzel; choreography by Alex Hartman<\/a>; scenic design by\u00a0Riw Rakkulchon<\/a>, costume and wig design by Kindall Almond, lighting design by Zack Lobel, and sound design by Germ\u00e1n Mart\u00ednez. Drew Francis and Andrew Wang will serve as production managers, with general management by The GM\u00a0Office and George Youakim and company management by Jacob Ambrosia.\u00a0<\/p>\n Rafaella Rosenberg<\/a> is producing\u00a0in partnership with Ramble, and\u00a0with co-producers Sean Nyberg<\/a> & Paul Danforth<\/a>, Tim Murray, Barbara Straka-Kenning, John Murray<\/a>, Tamara J.
