{"id":368290,"date":"2026-10-08T22:36:59","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T22:36:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/368290\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T22:36:59","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T22:36:59","slug":"person-shot-by-ice-officers-in-upper-manhattan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/368290\/","title":{"rendered":"Person shot by ICE officers in Upper Manhattan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK (1010 WINS) \u2014 A person was shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in the Marble Hill neighborhood of Upper Manhattan, the NYPD confirmed after reports broke Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>It happened during an operation on Marble Hill Avenue around 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD acknowledged the shooting in a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NYPDnews\/status\/2108307652648337880\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">social media<\/a>, stating that it involved &#8220;federal law enforcement agents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The NYPD was not involved in the incident and was not on scene at the time of the shooting,&#8221; the department said. &#8220;The individual who was shot is at a nearby hospital and is currently conscious and receiving medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>Gov.
