{"id":368310,"date":"2026-10-08T22:57:04","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T22:57:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/368310\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T22:57:04","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T22:57:04","slug":"manhattan-man-accused-of-sex-crimes-with-mentally-deficient-victim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/368310\/","title":{"rendered":"Manhattan man accused of sex crimes with mentally deficient victim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RILEY COUNTY \u2014Savalas Terell Tolliver Jr, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 12:22 p.m. on Oct. 7 in the 400 block of Leavenworth Street on a Riley County District Court warrant for one count of rape; sexual intercourse with mentally deficient victim or victim incapable of consent due to effects of alcohol, narcotics, drugs, or other substances and one count of rape; sexual intercourse without consent and use of force and one count of aggravated sexual battery, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.<\/p>\n<p>This arrest stems from a case originally filed in June 2025. Tolliver was also arrested on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear, stemming from original charges of disorderly conduct and revocation of probation.
