Shai Fruchter and Ava Dash are no more.<\/p>\n

The “Next Gen NYC” star confirmed that he’s no longer seeing Dash when “Virtual Reali-Tea” hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real pressed him for more information during Tuesday night’s 2026 VRT Awards, sponsored by Tri-State Cadillac<\/a>, CoverGirl<\/a>, Philo<\/a> and Kahl\u00faa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Have we been having date nights with Ava?” Murphy asked, to which Fruchter replied, “Nope.”<\/p>\n

As for whether he wants to have date nights with the model, Fruchter said, “Not right now.”<\/p>\n

“Ask Kyle,” he quipped, referring to Dash’s kiss with “Summer House” star Kyle Cooke, who was also present at the gala-style event, and took home the VRT Award for “Hot-Tea of the Year.”<\/p>\n

“Next Gen NYC” Season 2 brought forth an unexpected romance between Fruchter and Dash.<\/p>\n

During the Season 2 reunion, the pair revealed that they had “hooked up” on an un-filmed cast trip to the Bahamas. However, Dash also confirmed that she had “[shared] a kiss” with Cooke<\/a> in the Hamptons over the summer, describing the moment as a “cheeky little music festival kiss.”<\/p>\n

Fruchter and Dash spoke about their short-lived romance at the reunion, sharing that there was “a lot of miscommunication” that prompted them to call it quits.<\/p>\n

Still, at the time, Dash seemed open to rekindling her relationship with Fruchter in the future.<\/p>\n

“I think Shai knows that if he wants to ask me on a date and plan it, then I’ll say yes and we can go do that,” she said. “But until then, I’m not just going to say, ‘Hey, let’s hang out.'”<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like Fruchter shares the same sentiments.<\/p>\n

When chatting with Murphy and Real at the VRT Awards, Fruchter’s co-star Ariana Biermann chimed in to note that he has “plenty of options” as far as romantic prospects.<\/p>\n

The fashion lover attended the VRT Awards with co-stars Biermann, Liam Obergfoll and Rowan Henchy.<\/p>\n

Just as he and Dash are keeping things friendly, Biermann told Page Six on the red carpet that she and Obergfoll are also “not dating,”<\/a> despite cozying up to one another throughout the evening.<\/p>\n
