For two nights this October, Sunken Meadow Fields, a swathe of green space within the East River park, will be transformed into ticketed event grounds for a sky-high Harry Potter spectacle. <\/p>\n
More than 1,200 illuminated drones will rise above the lawn in synchronised formations, recreating familiar wizarding-world scenes to music from the films.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the ultimate experience for Harry Potter die-hards, and the two-night magial sky show is absolutely not to be missed if you adore the film series like most. <\/p>\n

A stretch of Randall\u2019s Island is becoming a wizarding-world event ground<\/p>\n
The DroneArt Show will take place at Sunken Meadow Fields on Randall\u2019s Island, with doors opening two hours before the 8:30 pm performance. During the event window, the immediate lawn will operate as a ticketed production area rather than its usual open green space.<\/p>\n
That means visitors should not expect to stroll straight onto the field for an impromptu look at the show. <\/p>\n
You will need a ticket, and late entry is not permitted once the performance begins \u2014 with the show lasting roughly 60 minutes, including an intermission.<\/p>\n
