\n\tThe pub-inspired restaurant Dean\u2019s was looking especially British on Thursday night, thanks to a takeover by Barbour. The stretch of Sixth Avenue outside the restaurant was lined with Barbour-branded vintage Land Rovers, which came in handy as photo backdrops later. Inside the small restaurant all the linens had been replaced with tartan versions, the bar\u2019s beer glasses had the brand\u2019s logo emblazoned on them, and various jackets and umbrellas had been arranged to complete the experience.<\/p>\n

\n\tBarbour was hosting a celebratory dinner to mark its weeklong takeover of the restaurant. The partnership marks the brand\u2019s second hospitality takeover, after a stint at Tea & Sympathy in the spring.<\/p>\n

\n\tGuests including Keri Russell,<\/a> Jane Krakowski, James Austin Johnson, Maya Boyd<\/a>, Malia Pyles, Myra Molloy,<\/a> Amalia Yoo and more were each outfitted in various tartans, pleats and the like for the occasion.<\/p>\n

\n\tMolloy and Pyles posed for photos together outside.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI want a picture of us on my film camera,\u201d Molloy said to Pyles.<\/p>\n

\n\tJohnson hammed it up for the camera, kicking his heels up. \u201cWhat\u2019s going on? Tell me about it,\u201d he said to a friend as he walked in. \u201cIs that skirt Barbour?\u201d one guest asked another. \u201cWow, they decked you all out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRussell paired a tartan cape with a pair of jeans and a heeled mule, watching as Boyd worked her own Barbour ensemble for photos.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not going to be doing any sexy poses,\u201d Russell said when it came time to take her picture. The wind had other ideas, giving her a more windswept moment. \u201cAnd here we are,\u201d Russell said with a laugh.<\/p>\n

\n\tInside the restaurant, guests chatted among Dean\u2019s signature Guinness-and-oyster shooters and silver bowls piled high with chips, but the warm fall night meant taking advantage of the sidewalk space also appealed. Dean Fryer, the restaurant\u2019s namesake, nursed a pint outside while chatting with creative director Nicholas Blechman.<\/p>\n
