NEW YORK (1010 WINS) \u2014 Two people are dead and others are injured after a car sped through an intersection in the Bronx on Friday afternoon, sources confirmed to 1010 WINS.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a collision at the intersection of Allerton Avenue and Holland Avenue at about 2:14 p.m., police said.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, officials found three people unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the body and head. EMS responded and transported all three pedestrians to NYC Health and Hospital\/Jacobi, authorities said.<\/p>\n
According to sources, two of the victims have died.<\/p>\n
A video of the crash obtained by 1010 WINS shows a white Mercedes Benz take off from the curb on westbound Allerton Avenue and zip through the Holland Avenue intersection, hitting pedestrians and other vehicles.<\/p>\n
Police identified the driver of the vehicle as an 81-year-old man and said he \u201cwas unable to stop when approaching upcoming stopped traffic.\u201d He rear ended two vehicles and then two additional vehicles, cops said.<\/p>\n
All six occupants of the scene remained on the scene and were also transported to NYC Health + Hospitals\/Jacobi in stable condition.<\/p>\n
