Oct. 7 \u2014 Vehicle theft from a parking lot on the 8500 block of Edinburgh Center Drive North.<\/p>\n
– Simple assault at a home on the 3400 block of 83rd Avenue North.<\/p>\n
– Theft from a store on the 7500 block of West Broadway.<\/p>\n
– Disorderly conduct at a parking lot on the 7500 block of West Broadway North.<\/p>\n
– Driving under the influence on the 7600 block of Hampshire Avenue North.<\/p>\n
Included in the Brooklyn Park Police Department’s emergency alerts were these incidents:<\/p>\n
Oct. 4 \u2014 Brooklyn Park Officers responded to a possible stabbing in the 6300 block of Boone Ave. Officers located evidence of a crime scene and obtained information of an injured male party. With the assistance from numerous other agencies a search for the injured male was conducted with use of drone and K-9. The male party was not located. An additional crime scene was located at the Autumn Ridge Apartment complex. Hennepin County CSI was called to the scene to process evidence. This case is currently under investigations by Brooklyn Park Police.<\/p>\n
Oct. 5 \u2014 At approximately 8:33 p.m., Brooklyn Park Police responded to reports of gunshots fired in the 8500 block of South Maplebrook Circle. Officers arrived and learned that the suspected shooter had fired several rounds \u2014 believed to have been discharged into the air \u2014 before fleeing the area in a vehicle.<\/p>\n
The initial investigation determined that this was not a random incident; the suspect and the victim, who resides in the area, are acquaintances. Officers located and collected evidence on scene.
