SYRACUSE, N.Y. \u2014 President Trump on Friday pledged to immediately help Bruce Blakeman<\/a> slash energy prices and crackdown on crime and illegal immigration New York, if Empire State voters choose the Republican gubernatorial candidate over Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul in November. <\/p>\n

\u201cKathy Hochul<\/a> and the radical \u2018Dumocrats\u2019 have turned New York into a national embarrassment of high cost, high crime, massive corruption and communist politicians chasing jobs and businesses and wealth \u2026 out of the state,\u201d Trump said at a packed rally in Syracuse. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe people of New York need to clean house in Albany on November 3rd, starting with Kathy Hochul,\u201d he demanded. <\/p>\n

Trump rattled off eye-popping statistics<\/a> on the number of \u201cmigrant criminals who have been arrested\u201d in the state, only to be set lose by Hochul \u201cto prey on innocent New Yorkers.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIn less than two years, New York has released criminal illegal aliens with charges and convictions for over 48,000 crimes,\u201d he said. \u201cThese are the people that are just released into the streets, including 8,600 assaults, 1,600 robberies and thousands and thousands of rapes and kidnappings and murders. <\/p>\n

\u201cDemocrats sanctuary policies always put innocent lives at risk.\u201d <\/p>\n

Trump praised the \u201cheroes of ICE\u201d involved in Thursday\u2019s shooting of suspected migrant gang member Oscar Belgal<\/a> in the Bronx. The president described Belgal as a \u201cman with a criminal record a mile long who was wanted for possible murder and murder in a gang \u2026 He\u2019s a very dangerous man, and they got him.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cBut instead of being praised,\u201d Trump lamented, \u201cICE was scorned by New York politicians who set him loose.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want to stop illegal alien criminals from being released into your communities, you must elect Bruce Blakeman and a Republican Congress and we will ban sanctuary cities and sanctuary states at long last,\u201d he promised. <\/p>\n

Trump continued, \u201cAnd if Bruce Blakeman, as your governor, calls me to help straighten out in New York City or pretty dangerous parts of this state that I know and love so much, I\u2019ll be there within 24 hours, Bruce.\u201d <\/p>\n

With Blakeman in the governor\u2019s mansion, the president declared that \u201cwithin two months you\u2019ll go from a high crime city to almost no crime at all \u2014 just like I did in Washington D.C., Memphis and New Orleans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump also raked Hochul over the coals on the high cost of electricity in the state \u2014 and said Blakeman would bring prices down by up to \u201c90%.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cYour energy bills are the highest in the nation. I hate to tell you that,\u201d Trump said. \u201cAnd when\u00a0Bruce gets in, you\u2019re going to go from the highest in the nation, I believe, to among the lowest in the nation \u2014 because he\u2019s going to tap into your oil.\u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are sitting on some of the greatest oil reserves anywhere in the world, and you\u2019re not allowed to touch it,\u201d he continued. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf Bruce Blakeman gets in, he will cut your electric bills by 70%, 80% and 90%.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rally was held at the Syracuse OneCenter, a massive convention center in the middle of the city. <\/p>\n

At the top of his remarks, the president fired up the crowd, saying it\u2019s great to be back in upstate New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere we are, not far from the shores of Lake America,\u201d he said to wild applause of the renaming of Lake Ontario. <\/p>\n

Joining Trump aboard Air Force One for the Syracuse trip were boxing legend Mike Tyson and New York Yankees President Randy Levine.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a very dangerous person actually,\u201d Trump bragged of Tyson.<\/p>\n

\"RepublicanTrump pledged to work with Blakeman to \u201cstraighten out\u201d New York. REUTERS<\/p>\n

Energy Secretary Chris Wright, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and New York GOP Reps. Claudia Tenney and Nick Langworthy also traveled with Trump on the presidential plane.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ahead of the president\u2019s speech, Blakeman warmed up the crowd by pledging that New York would be opened up to fracking and cease being a \u201csanctuary state\u201d if elected.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got to tap into that Marcellus Shale. It\u2019s drill baby drill,\u201d Blakeman said.<\/p>\n

The Nassau County executive slammed Hochul as \u201cthe most pro-criminal governor in America\u201d and said Albany policies like cashless bail and sanctuary cities are \u201call designed to let criminals get out and suffer no consequences for committing crimes in our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also blamed Hochul for Thursday\u2019s ICE shooting in the Bronx for allowing \u201cillegal migrants with criminal records to prey on the people of our state,\u201d Blakeman said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe tried to run the ICE agents over,\u201d Blakeman continued. \u201cKathy Hochul, we\u2019re outraged that you would let this guy into our state and defend him.\u201d<\/p>\n
