{"id":369988,"date":"2026-10-10T21:40:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-10T21:40:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/369988\/"},"modified":"2026-10-10T21:40:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-10T21:40:09","slug":"news-12-bronx-assailant-wanted-in-williamsbridge-attack-that-left-man-in-critical-condition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/369988\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Assailant Wanted In Williamsbridge Attack That Left Man In Critical Condition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">A 59-year-old man was critically wounded during an attack in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx and police are searching for the man they say is responsible.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">According to the NYPD, the assault happened when an argument turned physical at around 10:40 p.m. on Sept. 8 in front of 3807 White Plains Road.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police say the man struck the victim in the face and head numerous times.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Paramedics rushed the 59-year-old to Jacobi Hospital, where he remains in critical condition over one month later.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police released an image of the man who is wanted in connection with the assault.
