{"id":370114,"date":"2026-10-11T01:30:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-11T01:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/370114\/"},"modified":"2026-10-11T01:30:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-11T01:30:07","slug":"news-12-brooklyn-masked-man-gets-away-with-23k-in-valuables-during-sheepshead-bay-gunpoint-robbery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/370114\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Brooklyn | Masked Man Gets Away With 23k In Valuables During Sheepshead Bay Gunpoint Robbery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police are searching for the man who they say got away with over $23,000 in valuables during a gunpoint robbery last month in Sheepshead Bay.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Detectives say the robbery happened on Sept. 5 around 5 a.m. near Avenue V and Haring Street.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">According to the NYPD, a masked man walked up to a 40-year-old man, held him at gunpoint and demanded property.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Investigators say the victim handed over multiple valuable items, including his necklaces, watch, ring and cellphone &#8211; a total value of around $23,200.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The robber then got into a gray sedan and took off with the items in tow.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">The victim was not injured during the robbery, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police released surveillance images of the suspect and his alleged getaway car on Saturday.
