Seizing on talk that residents of New York City are thinking of leaving the Big Apple due to the election of Zohran Momdani as mayor, Pennsylvania Sen. Dave McCormick is playing travel agent and championing the Commonwealth as an alternative.<\/p>\n
McCormick appeared in a video released by his staff that invites those worried about life in NYC under Momdani to consider a place in the Keystone State, while also talking a little gridiron smack in the process.<\/p>\n
\u201cAre you worried about your future in New York? Because I have just the place for you.<\/p>\n
\u201cPennsylvania, where America was born. We\u2019ve got mountains, winning football teams, world-class universities. And no one is going to make you feel unwelcome for loving America, loving freedom, and loving your God.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re rebuilding steel, innovating life sciences, leading the AI revolution, and creating tens of thousands of jobs in shipbuilding, energy, and AI infrastructure.<\/p>\n
\u201cForget about the high taxes, the socialists, the losing football teams. If you\u2019re looking for a change of scenery, all you have to do is head west on I-80.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Keystone State is calling. Come on down,\u201d\u00a0said McCormick.<\/p>\n
