They’ve been waiting for you.\u00a0A\u00a0Three\u2019s Company tour\u2014marking the sitcom\u2019s upcoming 50th anniversary on March 15, 2027\u2014will play dates in New York, Dallas, Cleveland, and Los Angeles. It will feature celebrity guests performing a live table read of the original pilot.<\/p>\n
The first stop of the\u00a0Three\u2019s Company\u00a0Come and Knock on Our Door tour\u00a0is scheduled for November 2 at Joe’s Pub, the intimate cabaret located within the Public Theater\u00a0in New York City.\u00a0Original cast member Joyce DeWitt will co-host alongside John\u00a0Ritter\u2019s widow,\u00a0actress Amy Yasbeck. Richard Kline<\/a>, who originated the role of Larry Dallas, will be the evening’s narrator, alongside Jason Biggs<\/a>, who steps into Ritter\u2019s iconic role of Jack Tripper, with\u00a0Christine Taylor as Chrissy Snow, Bellamy Young<\/a> as Janet Wood, Richard Kind<\/a> as Stanley Roper, and Susie Essman as Helen Roper.<\/p>\n Following the New York kickoff, the Three\u2019s Company 50th anniversary tour will continue in 2027, with readings in Dallas (February 27), Cleveland (March 13), and Los Angeles (September 9). <\/p>\n Ritter passed away in 2003 from an acute aortic dissection that was initially misdiagnosed. Established in his honor by Amy Yasbeck, The John Ritter<\/a> Foundation\u00a0for Aortic Health\u00a0works to prevent premature deaths from aortic dissection through research, education, and advocacy.<\/p>\n The New York\u00a0event will celebrate Ritter\u2019s comedy legacy, raise funds for aortic health research and support for patients and families, and officially kick off the tour.<\/p>\n \u201cThis event is a celebration of John, the joy he brought to all of us through Three\u2019s Company, and the community that continues to carry his memory forward,\u201d said Yasbeck in a statement. \u201cBringing the show to the stage 50 years later is our way to honor him while helping us continue our mission to save lives through aortic dissection awareness and research.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHaving been on set during the taping of Three\u2019s Company, I got to see John\u2019s extraordinary physical comedy and warmth firsthand.
