The Golden State Warriors-Kristaps Porzi\u0146\u0123is saga<\/a> continues to get even more mysterious.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Warriors say they don\u2019t know where Kristaps Porzi\u0146\u0123is is, exactly what he\u2019s dealing with health-wise, or when he might be able to return to the court,\u201d Danny Emerman of The San Francisco Standard<\/a> wrote Sunday.<\/p>\n

This puzzling update arrives just a few days after Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admitted<\/a> that the 31-year-old forward wasn\u2019t at Golden State\u2019s practice on Friday and added, \u201cYeah, we\u2019ve texted. Seems to be doing okay, but we haven\u2019t gotten into into depth\u2026 He\u2019s got to take care of his health, and again, we\u2019ll support that and keep moving forward with the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kerr admitting that Porzi\u0146\u0123is isn\u2019t with the team for one practice is one thing. The fact that the organization doesn\u2019t know where he currently is, now that\u2019s another matter entirely.<\/p>\n

The Warriors were aware of this diagnosis when signing Porzi\u0146\u0123is\u00a0to a two-year, $40 million extension this offseason. Charles Wenzelberg\/New York Post<\/p>\n

Porzi\u0146\u0123is was diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, or POTS, in 2025. The belief is that his absence from the team is a byproduct of his health, but that has not been confirmed by the org.<\/p>\n

The Warriors and the rest of the NBA were aware of this diagnosis when signing Porzi\u0146\u0123is\u00a0to a two-year, $40 million extension<\/a> this offseason, yet they surely were hoping to have some more clarity about his status than they\u2019ve received at this point. <\/p>\n

Porzi\u0146\u0123is is sure to turn up eventually. The Warriors don\u2019t appear to know when that will be.<\/p>\n
