A Delta flight arriving from New York was evacuated Tuesday after landing at Tel Aviv airport over a bomb threat, according to reports.<\/p>\n

Passengers were rushed into the terminal at Ben Gurion Airport and investigators searched the plane, the Jerusalem Post reported<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Authorities had received word of an explosive onboard but the threat turned out to be false after the Airbus A330 twin-jet plane was searched.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe incident has ended with no unusual findings. Operations have returned to normal,\u201d an Israel Airports Authority spokesperson told Ynet.<\/a><\/p>\n

Delta operates a daily flight connecting JFK Airport and Tel Aviv. The flight left JFK just after 3:30 p.m. Monday and landed in Tel Aviv at around 8:30 a.m. local time. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear how many passengers and crew were on board the flight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The security scare comes almost two weeks after \u201clone wolf\u201d flydubai co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami allegedly attacked pilot Smit Machchhar<\/a> and tried to hijack a plane bound for Tel Aviv.\u00a0<\/p>\n
