Lawyers for A-lister-chomping actress Selma Blair<\/a> claimed to a Queens judge she deserved a break after her second bizarre mid-air meltdown because she is\u00a0\u201cthe gold standard\u2019\u2019 \u2014 but the\u00a0no-nonsense jurist told them to fugghedaboutit.<\/p>\n

\u201cConsider her body of work and what she\u2019s done for people,\u201d said one of Blair\u2019s two lawyers,\u00a0 Joshua Reitzas,\u00a0 at\u00a0 the 54-year-old \u201cCruel Intentions\u201d star\u2019s\u00a0 arraignment on assault charges Monday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is someone we should look up to. She is the gold standard,\u201d Reitas said.<\/p>\n

Judge Indira Kahn \u2014 who had already denied a request by Blair\u2019s lawyers to uncuff the haggard-looking actress for the proceeding \u2014\u00a0fired back, \u201cMs. Blair should not get special treatment because she is a celebrity.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

Kahn\u00a0ended up setting Blair\u2019s bail at $20,000 cash or a $60,000 bond, which she posted and was freed.<\/p>\n

Blair was on Delta Flt. 938<\/a> from Los Angeles to\u00a0 Kennedy Airport on Sunday night when she allegedly went berserk, biting one flight attendant and attacking another before the crew had to restrain her \u2014 leading to a\u00a0 federal assault rap against her.<\/p>\n

Once the plane landed, she was hauled off to the hospital for evaluation<\/a>, allegedly repeatedly kicking a cop during transport in the head and then attacking a nurse at Jamaica Hospital in Queens \u2014 resulting in the two assault charges covered in Monday\u2019s arraignment.<\/p>\n

Blair, who also starred in \u201cHellboy\u201d and \u201cLegally Blonde,\u201d suffers from multiple sclerosis and behaved badly because she was off her meds while also exhausted from work, her lawyers said. She has previously struggled with alcoholism.<\/p>\n

In 2016, when she\u00a0 launched into a horror meltdown\u00a0in front of her 4-year-old son on a Delta flight, Blair claimed she had\u00a0 mixed alcohol with medication and blacked out.<\/p>\n

She also has copped to bizarrely biting other celebrities \u2014 including Sienna Miller, Seth MacFarlane and Kate Moss \u2014 over the years.<\/p>\n
