Drivers were told to expect delays and use caution.<\/p>\n<p>It happened just before 6 a.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Floral Park, New York Man Killed<\/p>\n<p>According to the preliminary investigation, a 2025 Chevrolet Suburban completely stopped in the left lane of the highway. Bakshi of Floral Park, New York.<\/p>\n<p>Lifesaving measures were attempted at the scene before Bakshi was transported to Greenwich Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police tell Hudson Valley Post.<\/p>\n<p>The unnamed driver of the second Chevrolet Suburban was treated for minor injuries and released.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nextdoor.com\/page\/hudson-valley-post\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1792071491_262_attachment-No3_nextdoorpromo_newsletter.jpg\" alt=\"Follow Us on Nextdoor\" width=\"450\" height=\"113\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
