{"id":374424,"date":"2026-10-16T02:14:52","date_gmt":"2026-10-16T02:14:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/374424\/"},"modified":"2026-10-16T02:14:52","modified_gmt":"2026-10-16T02:14:52","slug":"news-12-brooklyn-carroll-gardens-library-turns-a-new-page-nearing-december-reopening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/374424\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Brooklyn | Carroll Gardens Library Turns A New Page Nearing December Reopening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">After more than three years behind closed doors and numerous delays, the historic Carroll Gardens library is preparing to welcome the community back.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">For many, the library is more than a place to borrow books \u2014 it&#8217;s a hub for learning, connection and community.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">&#8220;The library is really the center of the community,&#8221; Fritzi Bodenheimer, a spokesperson for the Brooklyn Public Library, said. &#8220;You can improve your language skills. If you&#8217;re a kid, you can come to story time.
