With the magic of over one million lights, Lightscape<\/a> returns to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden from Nov. 20 through Jan. 3, 2027.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Now in its sixth year, the annual spectacular holiday event has dazzled<\/a> hundreds of thousands of visitors with its colorful, festive displays.<\/p>\n

The redesigned winding trail through BBG\u2019s landscape begins and ends at the Visitor Center at 990 Washington Ave. Luminous installations and light-splashed landscapes highlight the Garden\u2019s beauty in winter and are a love letter to its splendor.<\/p>\n

The enchanting displays are awash in artistic lighting design, and visitors will encounter monumental lighted sculptures, colorful effects on BBG\u2019s trees, architecture, and water features, plus site-specific music and sound.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s lineup features 16 distinct installations, including popular fan favorites like the towering Winter Cathedral and \u201cBluebonnets\u201d by Mandylights, with 3,000 bluebonnets filling the grass borders on either side of the path near Oak Circle, creating a stunning sea of luminescent flowers. A reimagined fountain show by Sense Effects will light up the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden.<\/p>\n

New installations include Winter Wonder, a new work in the Cherry Esplanade, a fire garden across the Plant Family Lawn; the luminescent, glittering \u201cMoon & Stars,\u201d and a special piece titled \u201cI Love Brooklyn\u201d by Culture Creative and ArtAV.<\/p>\n

While outside food and drink are not permitted, visitors can purchase hot drinks and snacks at the concessions along the route, or enjoy seasonal craft cocktails, specialty hot chocolate, savory bites, sweet treats, and more in the indoor Lightscape Bar. Reservations for a sit-down dinner at Lightscape Lodge at Yellow Magnolia Caf\u00e9 will open this fall.<\/p>\n

Tickets are on sale now on BBG\u2019s website<\/a>, and entry times are staggered so groups can comfortably stroll the trail with family and friends.\u00a0 BBG members receive special discounts on all Peak and Off-Peak nights.<\/p>\n

Value Nights offer reduced ticket prices at $29 for adults and $15 for children.
\nDiscounted Off-Peak Entry tickets are available on select dates for $39 for adults and $22 for children.
\n21+ Nights on Dec. 10 and 17 allow adult visitors to enjoy a seasonal cocktail or hot chocolate and all Lightscape has to offer. Tickets are $39 for adults.
\nSensory-Friendly Early Entry on Dec. 3 and 18 at 4 p.m. offers a more relaxed experience for adults and children with disabilities or sensory sensitivity. Capacity is limited to ensure the Lightscape trail remains less crowded and more relaxed. Tickets are $29 for adults and $15 for children.
\nPeak Entry tickets are available for those who want to experience Lightscape on peak visiting days and cost $44 for adults and $28 for children.
\nVisitors with flexible schedules can purchase an Anytime Entry ticket for $59 for all levels.
