FOXBOROUGH, Mass.\u00a0(October 16, 2026) \u2013 The New England Revolution Academy Under-18, Under-16, and Under-15 teams hosted regional rival New York City FC this past Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Revolution Training Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The U-18s opened the weekend\u2019s action with a 2-2 draw against New York City FC, led by a goal-and-assist performance from Lucas Pereira (2010 – East Merrimack, N.H.). Pereira opened the scoring just seven minutes into the match, finishing a setup from Chris Scott (2010 – North Tonawanda, N.Y.). The Revolution doubled their advantage in the 25th minute when Pereira found Levi Katsell (2009 – San Diego, Calif.) for New England\u2019s second goal. However, the visitors responded with strikes in the 37th and 65th minutes to earn a share of the points.<\/p>\n

In other Academy action, the U-16s also battled to a 2-2 draw. New England took a 1-0 lead just before halftime on a goal from Shayne Dos Santos (2011 – Arlington, Mass.), with Vaughn Scholz (2011 – Reading, Mass.) providing the assist. The Revolution doubled their advantage five minutes into the second half when Musah Adamu (2011 – Ghana) set up Kai Nielsen (2011 – Concord, Mass.) for New England\u2019s second goal. However, New York City FC answered with goals in the 57th and 90th minutes to salvage a 2-2 draw.<\/p>\n

The U-15s closed out Academy action this weekend with a 1-0 loss to New York City FC. The visitors scored the match’s lone goal in the 69th minute, and despite New England’s push for an equalizer, New York City FC’s defense held firm to secure the victory.<\/p>\n
