COURTHOUSE,
\n Oct 16 \u2013 <\/p>\n

A 35-year-old man charged with
\n shooting a gun at 10 am on the
\n streets of Hunts Point, The
\n Bronx was ordered free on bond
\n pending the signature of
\n co-signers on July 15 in the
\n U.S. District Court for the
\n Southern District of New York
\n Magistrates Court. Inner City
\n Press was there.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0 The US
\n Attorney’s Office said they
\n would appear to the week’s
\n Part 1 Judge, Ronnie Abrams,
\n and they did. <\/p>\n

The defense put
\n in a letter that his other
\n case in The Bronx “does not
\n involve any of his potential
\n co-signers or family
\n members.”\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0The
\n Complaint has photos from
\n Spofford Avenue and Faile
\n Street, of bullet casings and
\n the defendant
\n running.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n

On July 17 Judge
\n Abrams as\/in Par 1granted the
\n appeal of the US Attorney’s
\n Office: “bail is revoked and
\n the defendant shall remain
\n detained pending trial.”\u00a0
\n <\/p>\n

On July 27 he was
\n formally indicted and the case
\n assigned to District Judge
\n Jesse M. Furman.<\/p>\n

On October 15 his
\n Federal Defender moved to
\n dismiss on Commerce Clause
\n grounds; the motion,
\n “explicitly made only ‘to
\n preserve the issue,'” was
\n denied.<\/p>\n

The case is USA
\n v. Demunn, 1:26-cr-322
\n (Furman)<\/p>\n
