{"id":376057,"date":"2026-10-18T03:58:41","date_gmt":"2026-10-18T03:58:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/376057\/"},"modified":"2026-10-18T03:58:41","modified_gmt":"2026-10-18T03:58:41","slug":"news-12-bronx-nypd-officer-struck-by-suv-in-bronx-hit-and-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/376057\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | Bronx | Nypd Officer Struck By Suv In Bronx Hit And Run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">An NYPD officer was struck by an SUV during a hit-and-run in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx on Saturday evening, according to police.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">It happened around 7:20 p.m. at Garrison Avenue and Whittier Street.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Police say multiple officers responded to a call about loud music at the intersection and were met by a large crowd.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">One of the people in the crowd took off in a white Honda SUV and struck the officer.<\/p>\n<p data-rich-text-paragraph=\"true\">Paramedics took the officer to Lincoln Hospital.
