A man barricaded himself in a New York City apartment after shooting two people Saturday night, police said.<\/p>\n
Cops responded to a call of shots fired inside an apartment building in the Claremont neighborhood of the Bronx just before 9:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n
Police said the man fired his gun multiple times in the hallway of the building and then barricaded himself inside an apartment.<\/p>\n

A 70-year-old woman was struck in the abdomen and a 60-year-old man was shot in the torso, police said.<\/p>\n
Both victims were rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where they are listed in stable condition, cops said.<\/p>\n
It is not yet known if the man, who has not been identified, had any relationship to the two victims.<\/p>\n
