The multi-story building has 21 units.  The name of the person who was killed hasn&#8217;t been released.  They were one of two victims who were rushed to a hospital.  <\/p>\n<p>The other person hurt in the fire is expected to recover.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/HK-deadly-fire-3.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>(Image: NBC New York)<\/p>\n<p>The fire started around 11:00 AM, across the street from the Worldwide Plaza complex.
