(WIBW) &#8211; KU volleyball improves to 5-1 in Big 12 play with a sweep over K-State on Thursday night. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jayhawks star-studded freshman Taylor Stanley led with a game-high 16 kills. Grace Nelson added 10 kills. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThat\u2019s probably as quiet as you are going to keep (Addison) Massey,\u201d KU head coach Matt Ulmer told 13 SPORTS. \u201cI thought we did a good job with that. She didn\u2019t get after us too much there. Again, that\u2019s a tough matchup for anyone to deal with Taylor. I thought she won that matchup which was pretty neat. She was scoring from all sorts of places for us and that was big.\u201c<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">K-State falls to 9-6 overall and 1-6 in conference play. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">KU hosts No. 8 Arizona State on Sunday at noon inside Allen Fieldhouse. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WIBW.
