{"id":376735,"date":"2026-10-19T10:34:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-19T10:34:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/376735\/"},"modified":"2026-10-19T10:34:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-19T10:34:07","slug":"vornado-hires-elisa-young-from-brookfield-to-lead-manhattan-retail-leasing-commercial-observer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/376735\/","title":{"rendered":"Vornado Hires Elisa Young From Brookfield to Lead Manhattan Retail Leasing \u2013 Commercial Observer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/vornado-realty-trust\/\" title=\"Vornado Realty Trust\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vornado Realty Trust<\/a> has hired a new head of retail leasing for its Manhattan portfolio, Commercial Observer has learned.<\/p>\n<p>Elisa Young started Monday in her new role as executive vice president of Vornado\u2019s retail division, in which she will oversee the lease-up of 2.3 million square feet of street-level retail space across Vornado\u2019s 40 Manhattan buildings.<\/p>\n<p>SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/?p=583246\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kayla Lee of Serhant: 5 Questions<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Young makes the\u00a0 jump from <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/brookfield-properties\/\" title=\"Brookfield Properties\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brookfield Properties<\/a>, now known as <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/bgre\/\" title=\"BGRE\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BGRE<\/a>, where she was senior vice president of retail leasing, according to Vornado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElisa is an accomplished retail leasing executive with a distinguished track record of attracting world-class brands and shaping premier retail destinations,\u201d Glen Weiss, Vornado\u2019s executive vice president of office leasing and co-head of real estate, said in a statement. \u201cHer deep industry relationships, market expertise and strategic vision will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen and elevate Vornado\u2019s exceptional retail portfolio.
