Toby Marlow<\/a> and Lucy Moss<\/a>\u2019 Tony winning musical SIX has announced the final Spirit Week of its Broadway run.<\/p>\n

To be held November 9-13 at the Lena Horne Theatre,\u00a0SIX is offering three specially themed nights for fans to toast their spirit of fun and sisterhood. Participation requires the purchase of a ticket to the show.<\/p>\n

On November 9, the production will hold\u00a0BYOC: Bring Your Own Crown Night. Fans are encouraged to wear their\u00a0favorite crown for a special night hosted by Tony nominee Christiani Pitts<\/a> (Two Strangers). Those who arrive without a crown of their own will be provided a crown by the production.<\/p>\n

On November 12, they will hold\u00a0Chloe\u2019s Court: Taking Back the Microphone, with a special post-show conversation with\u00a0Chloe Lukasiak (Dance Moms) and the production queens about life on stage, sisterhood, and the power of finding your voice.<\/p>\n

The final spirit night will be held November 13, where a costume contest will be held. Fans are encouraged to dress as their\u00a0favorite queen for a chance to win special prizes. The\u00a0costume contest will be\u00a0judged by SIX associate costume designer Amanda Jenks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SIX will play its final performance at Broadway’s Lena Horne Theatre January 3, 2027. As of closing, the original musical will have played a total of 2,178 performances. SIX had its first preview February 13, 2020 and its original opening night coincided with the Broadway shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, SIX was the first new musical to open on Broadway following the Covid shutdown, opening October 3, 2021.<\/p>\n

The cast currently features Khaila Wilcoxon<\/a> as Catherine of Aragon, Chloe Tucker Caine<\/a> as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris<\/a> as Jane Seymour, Olivia Donalson<\/a> as Anna of Cleves, Aimie Atkinson<\/a> as Katherine Howard, and Stephanie Jae Park<\/a> as Catherine Parr. The company also includes Lauryn Adams<\/a>, Aryn Bohannon<\/a>, Maggie Likcani<\/a>, and Aiyana Smash<\/a> as alternates.<\/p>\n

While making their Broadway debuts, Paris and Atkinson can also be seen in SIX The Musical Live!, a live capture film released by Universal Pictures Content Group and recorded at the Vaudeville Theatre, London, with the original West End Queens reprising their roles. The film was released in U.S. and Canadian cinemas August 14.<\/p>\n

In the hit musical, the six wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to remix 500 years of historical heartbreak into a euphoric celebration of 21st century girl power.<\/p>\n

The musical, which debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, is the winner of 35 international awards, including the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.<\/p>\n

SIX\u00a0is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage<\/a> and features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille<\/a>, scenic design by Emma Bailey<\/a>, costume design by Gabriella Slade<\/a>, lighting design by Tim Deiling<\/a>, sound design by Paul Gatehouse<\/a>, orchestrations by Tom Curran<\/a> with music supervision by Joe Beighton<\/a> and U.S. music supervision by Roberta Duchak<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Casting is by The TRC Company<\/a>‘s Peter Van Dam. Theater Matters<\/a> is general manager, Sam Levy<\/a> is associate producer, and Lucas McMahon<\/a> is U.S. executive producer.<\/p>\n

Across the pond, SIX\u00a0continues its reign in London’s West End, and is currently on tour across the U.K. and Australia. The show returns to China later this year on a 12-week tour. A new Spanish-language production opens in Madrid this September.<\/p>\n
