Some of the Bronx’s most accomplished and influential women will come together as Schneps Media presents Power Women of the Bronx, a celebration recognizing the women making an impact across the borough.

The annual event honors leaders whose accomplishments, commitment and influence help make the Bronx a thriving place to live, work and do business. Honorees represent a wide range of industries and organizations, including healthcare, education, finance, law, real estate, nonprofit leadership, business and community service.

At the heart of Power Women is a simple idea: when women support women, amazing things happen.

Presented by Schneps Media, publisher of the Bronx Times and amNY, the event creates an opportunity for extraordinary women from every corner of the borough to meet one another, build meaningful relationships, celebrate their accomplishments and create new opportunities to work together.

The evening will begin with an exclusive VIP Power Hour, giving honorees the opportunity to connect with one another before the larger celebration begins. Guests will then join the honorees for an evening of networking, food and drinks, followed by a high-energy awards presentation celebrating each woman and her achievements.

Power Women of the Bronx also recognizes the different stages of leadership and the importance of women lifting up the next generation.

Power Women ICON’s recognize past Power Women honorees who have continued to distinguish themselves as leaders within their industries and communities, while Power Women RISING’s celebrate women on an upward trajectory in their careers. Together with the newest class of Power Women, they represent a growing community of women supporting, mentoring and creating opportunities for one another.

The result is a celebration that goes beyond receiving an award. Power Women of the Bronx brings together women who may work in entirely different fields but share a commitment to leadership, service and making a difference in the communities around them.

The event also continues Schneps Media’s tradition of giving back, with 100% of raffle proceeds benefiting a local cause.

Power Women of the Bronx is part of Schneps Media’s long standing series of events recognizing influential women and leaders across New York and creating opportunities for them to connect, collaborate and build community.
