NEW YORK (PIX11) \u2014 The northern lights<\/a> may be shining for New Yorkers once again on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, much of the northern U.S. and some southern states were treated to a wonderful display of color<\/a> in the sky at around 9 p.m. Is that the case for Wednesday?<\/p>\n

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration\u2019s (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center<\/a>, the timeline for Wednesday\u2019s light show is lining up with its predecessor.<\/p>\n

The aurora forecast shows visibility beginning somewhere around 8 p.m. Eastern Time, peaking about an hour later. The visibility will begin to wane sometime around 11 p.m., according to the forecast.<\/p>\n
