The total estimated loss is approximately $3,000.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate incident, officers filed a report for forgery and theft just after 10:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Westwind Drive.<\/p>\n<p>An 81-year-old woman was listed as the victim after an unknown suspect reportedly forged checks against her account, resulting in an estimated loss of $9,325.<\/p>\n<p>The combined estimated loss from both cases is $12,325.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information about either incident is encouraged to contact the RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
