New York City Emergency Management issued<\/a> the statement late Tuesday evening, saying that an inundation of one half foot above ground level could lead to minor flooding of roads and properties near the shoreline.<\/p>\nThe warning was first made Tuesday evening, and is set to run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the agency.<\/p>\n
Anyone who encounters flood water is advised to not attempt to drive through flooded roadways.<\/p>\n
The flood statement is tied to an offshore nor\u2019easter, which is also causing parts of Long Island to be under a flood advisory.<\/p>\n
