Britney Spears<\/a> tried to keep a low profile during a recent lunch outing in New York City, but one detail about her visit is raising eyebrows.<\/p>\n

The pop star, 44, spent a little more than an hour at the restaurant RinTinTin on Thursday, October 15, where eyewitnesses claimed she drank three glasses of red wine, Page Six<\/a> reported on Friday, October 16.<\/p>\n

Spears appeared to be trying to avoid attention during the outing, covering her face with a scarf and wearing sunglasses inside the restaurant, per the report.<\/p>\n

Outside, the “Toxic” singer continued trying to shield herself from photographers while her driver held an umbrella in the rain, according to the outlet. After getting into a waiting vehicle, she was spotted smoking cigarettes and filming something on her cellphone.<\/p>\n

The outing came seven months after Spears was arrested for DUI<\/a> in California.<\/p>\n

As Star<\/a> previously reported<\/a>, in May, her attorney pleaded guilty on her behalf to a reduced charge of reckless driving involving alcohol, often called a “wet reckless,” per Page Six<\/a>. Spears was sentenced to one year of informal probation and ordered to complete a three-month alcohol education program.<\/p>\n

The singer also recently reflected on her 13-year conservatorship, which ended in November 2021.<\/p>\n

“I’m bitter, all the hours, seconds, time, and secretly, subconsciously knowing my capabilities as a woman,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post, Page Six reported.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, the “\u2026Baby One More Time” singer also claimed that the court-ordered conservatorship, which ended in November 2021, prevented her from traveling freely or accessing her own money for years.<\/p>\n

Earlier in October, the singer enjoyed a happier family outing with her sons, Sean Preston<\/a>, 21, and Jayden James<\/a>, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline<\/a>, at Dollywood in Tennessee<\/a>.<\/p>\n
