The delivery worker was sent hurtling from his bike and into the roadway, where he suffered what officials are describing as severe head trauma. Police said he was not wearing a helmet.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the driver of the Hyundai did not stop and instead fled the scene; they remain at large as of press time Wednesday morning.\n<\/p>\n<p>Officers from the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nypd77pct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">77th Precinct<\/a> responded to the incident. EMS rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad.\n<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding this incident can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA).
