Casting has been revealed for three productions in\u00a0Atlantic Theater Company<\/a>‘s 2026-2027 season Off-Broadway.<\/p>\n

All mainstage productions will be performed at Atlantic\u2019s Linda Gross Theater. Child-friendly offerings will be staged at Atlantic Stage 2.<\/p>\n

The children’s offering of the season will be\u00a0Finn, the family musical that previously had a Kennedy Center tour canceled<\/a> following President Trump’s take-over of the arts institution. With a book by Chris Nee, music by Michael Kooman, and lyrics by Christopher Dimond, the piece will be directed by Ryan Dobrin<\/a>. Running December 12, 2026-January 31, 2027, the underwater musical chronicles the coming-of-age journey of Finn, a young shark who dreams of following in his family\u2019s footsteps by joining the prestigious Shark Guard.<\/p>\n

Finn will star\u00a0Jonice Bernard, Sydney Carmona, Gio Coppola, Catherine Luckenbach, Arwen-Vira Marsh, Maya Mays, Hayden Eugene Poe, and Alexa Stratton. Additional casting will\u00a0be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n

Next up on the mainstage will be the world premiere of Clare Barron’s Too Bad For Her, directed by Anne Kauffman<\/a>. Running January 9-February 14, 2027, the piece is a compassionate and perverse exploration of a 30-year affair and its consequences.\u00a0Too Bad For Her\u00a0will star Tony nominee Ato Blankson-Wood<\/a> (Slave Play), Renata Friedman (The Patient), Obie winner Greg Keller<\/a> (Indian Princesses), Peter Mark Kendall<\/a> (Watson), Sydney Lemmon<\/a> (Love Story), and Tony nominee Alison Pill<\/a> (Uncle Vanya). Additional casting will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n

Come March, Atlantic will stage the long-awaited world premiere of Lucas Hnath<\/a>‘s Old Actress. Directed by Les Waters<\/a>, the production will reunite Hnath and Waters with Deirdre O’Connell<\/a> for the first time since their Tony-winning Dana H. The meta theatrical experience, which will run March 18-April 25, 2027, is a play about the act of learning lines for a play. O’Connell will be joined by\u00a0Pulitzer Prize winner Eboni Booth<\/a> (Primary Trust) and Susan Yassky.<\/p>\n
