An e-bike rider is clinging to life after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on a busy Brooklyn street Tuesday night, cops said.<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old biker was riding south in the right lane on Nostrand Avenue near Atlantic Avenue in Crown Heights \u2013 a buzzing commercial intersection \u2013 around 7:30 p.m. when he was struck by the driver of a white 2026 Hyundai Elantra, police said.<\/p>\n
The Elantra driver had been in the center lane before beginning to merge into the right lane, where the crash happened, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The cyclist was thrown from the bike onto the pavement and suffered head trauma, according to cops.<\/p>\n

The Hyundai driver fled the scene, heading south on Nostrand Avenue, and remained on the lam, police said.<\/p>\n
