Perfecth<\/a> on a 2027 tour. Beginning May 1st at San Diego\u2019s Viejas Arena, they will bring their unforgettable live set to venues such as Kia Forum in Los Angeles and TD Garden in Boston, and will also stage outdoor shows at Red Rocks and American Family Insurance Amp in Milwaukee. Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp will support on all dates.<\/p>\nPresales start on Wednesday, October 28th, ahead of the general sale on Thursday, October 29th, at 10 am local time.<\/p>\n
The newly announced dates will follow previously announced stops in Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and at Lollapalooza\u2019s three Latin American editions. More headlining shows in the new year will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
Last night (Wed, Oct 21st), the band returned to NBC\u2019s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the live debut of \u201cWhere the Goth Girls At?\u201d off their forthcoming release Perfecth, coming October 30th via Matador Records. It follows previously released Perfecth songs \u201cInsignificant Other,\u201d and the Nikki Lane-featuring \u201cEasy Street.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year Halloween becomes HalloQueen, as the band will celebrate the release of Perfecth with HalloQueen retail events around the world on October 31st. Costumes are encouraged! Perfecth was produced by\u00a0Homme and band member Michael Shuman. It was made in the spirit of Kintsugi \u2014 the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling its cracks with gold, which holds that what has been shattered is made more beautiful, not less, by the act of repair. It\u2019s an album that could only have been made right now thanks to band members taking significant evolutionary steps as a collective and arriving at hard-won clarity. Its nine songs map different forms of love: of family, friends, and others, both significant and insignificant. The loves that break you beyond survival and the loves that put you back together.<\/p>\n
