Evan Neal has a new home.<\/p>\n

The former Giants bust was signed to the Eagles\u2019 practice squad, the team announced Thursday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The move comes just days after the offensive lineman was cut from the Raiders\u2019 practice squad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Neal, taken seventh overall out of Alabama by Big Blue in 2022, hasn\u2019t appeared in an NFL game since the 2024 season.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old appeared in just 29 games, making 27 starts, during his tenure with the Giants as injuries and inconsistent play derailed his career.<\/p>\n

Neal struggled at right tackle during his first three seasons, prompting the Giants to move him to guard ahead of the 2025 campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the position change failed to revive his career, and he didn\u2019t play a single regular-season snap last year before landing on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

The Giants brought Neal back on a one-year deal<\/a> in March, giving the former first-rounder another opportunity to prove himself under a new coaching staff, but he failed to make the team\u2019s 53-man roster and was released in August.<\/p>\n

He subsequently joined Las Vegas\u2019 practice squad in September but never appeared in a game for the Raiders.<\/p>\n

Neal joins a Philadelphia team in desperate need of help on their offensive line.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, star offensive lineman Lane Johnson suddenly retired<\/a>, leaving a massive hole up front.\u00a0<\/p>\n
